This serves two purpose, Instead of increasing the fan speed from my original 120mm to work hard to pull air in, I can bring it down to about 32% fan speed and have the new fan help pull in air.. I took a 1/4 drill bit to enlarge the holes in the fan and drill right through the original fan into the alluminum plate and than later insert the bolt to support the second fan as you can see above..
